Bookmarklet

Our snipshot import bookmarklet lets you import any picture from any web page into Snipshot with a special browser bookmark. Check out Max Kiesler’s great screencast (from when we were known as “Pixoh”) to see how it works.

How to install the bookmarklet

In Firefox

The Firefox bookmarklet should work in most browsers, including Opera.

Firefox Toolbar

Click and drag snipshot import up to your toolbar.

In Internet Explorer

IE Toolbar

Right click on snipshot import and select “Add to Favorites.” Add the bookmarklet to your “Links” folder to make it appear in the toolbar.

In Safari

Safari Toolbar

Click and drag snipshot import up to your toolbar.

How to use the bookmarklet

1. Go to any page that has pictures on it. Click on the bookmarklet in your toolbar. (Or you can click on the bookmarklet in your regular bookmarks folder.)

2. Pick out the picture that you want to import into Snipshot. Click on it.

3. Voila! You have now succesfully imported a picture into Snipshot. Go ahead and edit it.
